~Probably the last thing I'll submit until I come back from SCAD. Anyway! I've been reading this comic called "Hot Gimmick" ...and for some odd reason, I kind of love it! Here's the wikipedia version of it, 'cause I'm too tired to type it out in my words.
"It's a story about a girl named Hatsumi Narita, passive sixteen-year-old girl who lives in a company housing complex that is ruled by the tyrannical Mrs. Tachibana, the wife of the company's vice president. How a family behaves in the housing complex can affect an employee's status in the company. When her promiscuous younger sister Akane thinks she might be pregnant, Hatsumi gets talked into buying her a pregnancy test. Unfortunately, things don't go exactly as planned and Hatsumi is blackmailed by Ryoki Tachibana, the arrogant teenage son of the powerful Tachibana family who bullied her as a kid, into being his slave." I feel kind of bad for Hatsumi, 'cause she gets bullied and picked on by Ryoki so much like calling her stupid and even threatening her, and if they were in America, this would be titled as an abusive relationship.  But boy does he keep her on a tight leash! Ryoki is very mean and abusive, but he has an odd way of showing his feelings for Hatsumi. He can be really funny sometimes, he's cute! X3Why I like this book, first, the author/artist is one of my favorites, and her artwork is so great, especially the clothing! o^o omg the folds!!! TT-TT I need to work on clothing...which is what I did here! I put more detail in the clothings this time! ^^ ugh. I need to work on hands though... And just love the storyline too!
